Privacy
This website collects as little as possible. Analytics runs only if you allow it, and the only other personal data we receive is what you choose to send us.
Who we are
The website imedia.si is operated by iMedia d.o.o., Slovenia, which is responsible for the processing described here. For any question about privacy, write to info@imedia.si.
Your choice on analytics
On your first visit we ask whether you allow analytics. You can choose “Only necessary” or “Allow analytics”; both are equally easy, and the website works the same either way. Nothing is measured until you allow it.
Your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (under the name imedia-consent) so we don’t ask again. You can change it at any time through “Privacy settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, analytics stops and its cookies are deleted.
Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It helps us understand how the website is used: for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and the type of device and browser, the language and the approximate location (country or city).
Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser: _ga and _ga_<ID>. They distinguish visitors and sessions and expire after two years, or sooner if you withdraw consent. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; for visitors in the EU, the IP address is used only to derive approximate location and is then discarded. We have turned off Google’s advertising features for this website (Google signals and ad personalisation).
We keep Google Analytics data for 2 months, after which it is deleted from Google Analytics. Google may also process data in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Cookies are set only after you consent, as Slovenian electronic communications law requires. More information: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Hosting and technical data
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit, Vercel automatically processes technical data needed to deliver the pages and keep the service secure, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and your browser’s user agent. Vercel processes this data on our behalf, and we do not use it to identify or profile visitors.
Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form and email
When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and to handle your enquiry. The same applies if you write to us by email.
The form is processed by a server function that runs in Vercel’s Frankfurt (EU) region and is delivered as an email to our mailbox, which is hosted by our email provider in Slovenia. The form also contains a hidden field that filters out automated spam; it does not collect anything else.
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, or as long as the law requires.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request, or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
